The Designer's Journey

Hi there - nice to meet you! I'm Brenna, a Brooklyn-based UX designer with roots in Michigan. Since childhood, I have been obsessed with art, design, and learning. I am thrilled to be working at the intersection of these passions, crafting thoughtful, human-centered experiences that connect and inspire.

Before transitioning into UX, I spent several years at a non-profit research institution, working to improve preschool assessment tools and systems that support young children's learning. I led focus groups, interviews, and field visits with educators, administrators, and families. These experiences taught me how essential it is to design with people, not just for them. Co-designer for life!

My time spent working in human-centered research sparked my transition into UX. I saw how intentional design, grounded in real-world feedback, could improve usability, scalability, and ultimately, outcomes for communities. I realized I wanted to be part of that change.

If you're building something with people at the center—I'd love to be part of it.

Have an opportunity? Let's connect!

What Drives Me

I've always been drawn to creative problem-solving, especially when it comes to addressing complex societal challenges. UX design lets me combine that passion with my commitment to advocacy and equity.

With a foundation in public policy and academic research, I bring a systems-level understanding of inequality and the real-world impact of access to resources, technology, and opportunity. I believe that well-designed, inclusive products can shift those outcomes and create lasting change.
